do you run both rebound settings fast, i had been running my ending stroke a little slow for big hits, and my beginning stroke fast for smaller bumps

RapidRob wrote

so, when you say your running the low speed compression (big hits) almost all the way slow, your turrning it toward the turtle right?? And your high speed is set almost all the way fast, toward the rabbit? Just making sure i not backwards

yeah i've got holzfellers, they make the chainline perfect when your in the smallest cog on the cassette! definitely getting rid of them when the money allows. Thanks for the help. I take it the guide runs perfectwhen its spaced out properly?

saw your thread on the mrp g2 chainguide on sx trail, got the same bike as you and was wanting to fit a mrp g2. How far did you need to space the backing plate from the iscg mounts? the chainline is rubbish because of the dropped chainstays.

And ah yes, calling people a little kid? I would assume a TWENTY SEVEN year old would have a bit moore knowledge on building basic structures. So I would watch out who you are calling little.

Oh geez, what I am saying is not taught in a classroom, it is common sense. If you cannot get this thru you head the right way then fine by me, but others will just critisize you for it.

A "gap" is the distance you travel outward on a horizontal plane, not how far you travel out and down

If you want to reply to anything I've said feel free to respond here on in PM, I love a good arguing session as you can tell... just please don't bring the whole thing back to that thread. we got past it and I'm sure most people do not want us to get back into it.

Well, I am about 2 hours west of Duffield. Cinci is a 5 1/2 hour drive. We used to go to Florence Ky . to skate at Ollies.

We ride around sw tip of Indiana. Not alot of freeride stuff around here. We built a trail that was super fun. But it was off of a xc trail at a local college. Grounds crew weren't to stoked to find the latter drops, berms and doubles we built. So they whiped it out. Other than Duffield ever once in a while, really just look for places close by. I've been to Obannon, Otter Creek, LBL, and other random places. But most of the trails are XC. We are scoping out some other spots to build here in town though. Doesn't take alot of space to build a fun freeride trail. We had about a 1/2 mile or so of different trails built out of the side of a hill littered with all kinds of stuff. 4-5 different routes cause the trails converged in spots. Real fast, flowed well, and was a blast. If you can't tell I miss it....

Just came accross your profile from the sx trail thread. Noticed you're around Cincinatti and was wondering where you ride? Looking for more freeride or fast single track. You ever go to Ft.Duffield?
